Partnership between OceanPact and COPPE / LabOcean. Partnership agreement signed with Finep. Training equipment for simulating the working environment of a dedicated Oil Spill Response Vessel. Agreements with other Coppe laboratories to develop other innovation projects.
Developed for a drilling campaign in an area of extreme environmental sensitivity. U.S. Patent No. 7785036 and with Brazilian patent filled under INPI No. 20070174655.
We invest in technology to deliver quality, with cutting edge equipment like NOFI Current Buster®, a containment and recovery system which offers high-performance in fast current conditions, containment boom deflectors and oil spill detection sensors capable of detecting and monitoring oil in any lighting condition.
We operate in the development of people, processes and equipment, seeking innovative solutions to overcome operational issues and improve the efficiency and safety of workers. The strategic alliance with the Norwegian company AllMaritim allows for training, maintenance, testing and supply of the Current Buster and other equipment distributed by the company.
OceanPact, leader in emergency response in offshore and coastal environments, has the pleasure of announcing the release of its first App, the OIL SPILL CALCULATOR.
The App is capable of calculating the volume of oil spilled through aerial observation, informing the area and thickness of the oil spill.
The thickness is derived from a established NOAA colour chart for oil on water.
Download the App now and check out how simple it is to use.*
* The OIL SPILL CALCULATOR App is available on IOS.
