May 23 to 26, OceanPact participated in the International Oil Spill Conference in Portland, USA. Considered the most important Oil Spill event in the world, IOSC attracts some of the most influential companies in the oil spill industry: equipment manufacturers, consulting and operations companies, and government institutions, amongst others.
OceanPact’ booth also had the presence of MMB, the Norwegian manufacturer of equipment to respond to oil spills at sea, such as containment booms, supply boats, skimmers and others.
Founded in 1969, IOSC has become established as the world’s leading forum for exchanging ideas and sharing lessons learned in emergency response and research around the world.
